Landscape Photography

The other day, while walking Pip, I noticed that our usual view from the top field was looking pretty spectacular. This was a chance to practise my landscape photography.


I'm not the best landscape photographer - I need to have a dog in the photo!


Or part of the dog...



But eventually, I stopped putting the dog in the photo, and went it alone.





I love that view.

The sheep don't seem to mind though.


They'd rather eat and sleep the day away.

    Those are definitely beautiful photos and you captured the beauty of nature, Pip and everything. I always love to see your pictures, they are truly good! How I wish I could live in a place like when you are!!!

    Lovely landscape you have!
    It looks like you are fairly close to the sea. Is it warm enough to swim there in the summer?
    I like the through the ear perspective. Here's a little challenge for you:) Take one with the landscape in focus and the ears out of focus, and see which one you like best:)

    If you have trouble with what I suggested, hold the camera high enough that Pip's ears aren't in the picture, focus on the scenery, press the shutter half way down to hold that focus point, and then lower the camera so that Pip's ears come into the picture. The scenery should stay in focus and Pip's ears will be extra fuzzy because they are out of focus:) Hope you post the result:)
