With no bread in the house to make toast, I decided to go and get a loaf, which soon escalated into having my breakfast outside a café with Jess.
Jess hadn't been out for a while, so the noise and bustle of the town - even on a Sunday morning - left her looking a little scared.
I offered her what reassurances I could.
Breakfast was a yummy bagel. I don't often have my breakfast out so it was a real treat.
We were outside, so there was a beautifully clear reflection of us in the window. Jess stood behind me, alternately watching me eat and watching the traffic go by.
She stayed on the ground well until the nearby chapel's bell started tolling - she needed a hug so she joined me on the bench.
As soon as the bell stopped she jumped down again.
And yes, I did get that loaf on the way home.
Well, that's pawsome but WOW! Did you say a loaf, BOL!!! Happy Sunday. Golden Woofs

ReplyDeleteBreakfast outside is wonderful. I would love to find a place I could bring Cocoa.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice breakfast. Our brother Bruin would be the same if we brought him out into the city!
